Child Evangelism Fellowship

Child Evangelism Fellowship also known as CEF, is a Biblecentered, worldwide organization compused of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the local church for Christian living.  CEF has over 1,200 missionaries overseas, approximately 1,000 of whom are nationals.  In the USA and Canada 700 full-time workers and an estimated 40,000 volunteers serve the ministry.  CEF was founded by Jesse Irvin Overholtzer in 1937.

Southwest Chapter

The Southwest Chapter was charted on November 13, 1959.  The first director was Rev. and Mrs. Alvin Bauch.  CEF in Southwest ND has been faithfully served by many godly men and women.  Each chapter is supported by individuals and churches within their area.  Prayer is the key to the success of any CEF chapter..

Southwest Chapter Committee

The Chapter Committee is the executive body that makes the decision for the mission work in their area.  This volunteer group works as a team with the local director.  Fund raising, prayer, and the ministries of Good News Club, 5-Day Clubs, Good News Camp, Christian Youth IN Action, Teacher Training, etc.  are the responsibilities of this diligent group of people.  The Southwest Chapter of North Dakota covers 17 counties, with where the population estimate is 110,000 people.
